Blue Star has been named by the Washington Business Journal as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington for 2018.
The 12th annual Best Places to Work program honors companies that scored highest among the nearly 500 employers that participated in Quantum Workplace’s annual employee engagement survey. The Business Journal’s Best Places to Work results are quantitative, based on survey responses from employees themselves.
Rankings of the winners were announced at a May 17 awards event held at the MGM National Harbor. Blue Star Cybersecurity ranked among the top 10 winners in the medium-sized business.
About Best Places to Work: Honorees are generated from online nominations. Businesses meeting criteria for business location and size are invited to participate in employee engagement surveys distributed by Quantum Workplace. Based on the results of those surveys, businesses are assigned a score out of 100 percent and ranked by Quantum. The top-rated companies in three size categories — 35 small, 25 medium, 25 large — and 20 extra-large companies are honored by the Business Journal as Best Places to Work.
